John Bogert writes, in the Daily Breeze from the Left Coast, on how offended women are at having to be searched as part of airport security. They are (*gasp!*) subjected to being touched, and - HORRORS! - inconvenienced - in the name of normal searches. This leaves them”hurt” and “angry” and “feeling violated.”
I trust you are hearing the same violins I am hearing right now.
Of course, we all know that women are congenitally incapable of violence, or of carrying weapons or explosives, so there is no excuse for this except for sicck and perverted men wanting to touch them; this despite the fact that they, but not men, can demand a screener of their own sex to search them, or they, but not men, can demand that such strip searches be done privately.
Of course, “Men don’t seem to understand how offensive it is to be touched when you don’t want to be touched.”
Pardon me whilst I upchuck. Yet another example where whiney women want one set of stricter rules for men, and another set, full of exceptions, for women. Another double standard. Ho hum. Same old, same old.
I have an idea - why don’t we just go ahead and have special “Woman Flights.” The cockpits will be locked to prevent terrorists coming in there, but all the crew and passengers will be women, and they will all have the “fluff screening.”
Howzzat sound?
