Now, personally, I believe in the right of private discriination, but I’m a “Same rights for me AND for thee” kind of guy.  These fucks want to agitate against anyone discriminating against them, by force of law (the gun), but you?  Hah.  Screw you.

I find this very amusing from the story:

So - was it Mary or Heather who provided the “Y” chromosome?

Aaaaaaaah.  I see.  It was a man after all.  So Sammy really has one mommy, and a daddy, and a woman called “Mommy” under a legal fiction.

But a fiction nonetheless.

Assuming they don’t live in Virginia, which doesn’t recognize that particular legal fiction.  Not to worry, though - their other side of that is they can always go after the sperm donor for child support.

Not that this would be a bad thing - I regard any man who donates sperm to help lesbians undermine fatherhood to be a traitor to his sex who deserves what he gets - and maybe that will have a chilling effect leading to fewer men doing it.

Now “Nifong Syndrome” begins.

I wish I had sympathy.  But I really don’t.   Oh, I have sympathy for the girl, don’t get me wrong.  The people bleating about what an “injustice” this is?

This is what happens when you do witch hunts.  It’s like crying wolf.   And it’s the logical conclusion of the mentality that makes an accusation as good as a conviction.

Yes.  Absolutely.  It’s a backlash.  Know how you get a backlash?  By pushing and stretching things too far.

Let the chips fall where they may.  Maybe if real victims start getting shafted, they will stop listening to misandrist witch-hunters.

Spent part of it doing the old “Here, have some more tequila” with a buddy of mine who is going through a divorce.

It’s pretty much a repeat of a little over two years ago.  His wife had turned up pregnant, despite birth control.  Three weeks later, “they” decided to “terminate the pregnancy.”

Only then, as the bottle of Tullamore Dew emptied, it went from “We decided, I’m supporting her in it” to “Yeah, some choice I had.” to “It’s not like I had any fucking choice in the matter at all, Pete.”

Well, like most idiot men, he rolled over, and is going to be buying her house for her, but, in the name of Vino Veritas, he let something slip about how he doesn’t “blame her for having an affair, really” because he hadn’t touched her in almost two years.

“She’s already killed one of my children, why the fuck would I want to risk giving her another?”

Of course, his soon to be ex (And God, I hope he doesn’t go through with letting her have the house) sees it different, how he was “never there for her” after they “lost the baby.”

No, dumb bitch - you didn’t “lose” the baby - you threw it away.  You told him, basically “Tough shit if you don’t like it.”  What do you really fucking expect him to do?  Let’s say he had the tiebreaker, and you wound up carrying the baby to term - would you be all lovey-dovey and smiles with him?

Yeah, I didn’t think so - shove an unwanted solution down your throat, and you’d be resentful, angry, and probably wouldn’t touch him for two years either.

I am ambivalent and indifferent to abortion anymore; but I can afford to be as I have no horse in that race.  Ya’ll might remember this, though, gents when you date that woman with the pro-abortion bumper sticker on her car.  This could be you a few years from now.

If you’re cool with that, fine - more power to ya.

The news is crap.  It’s the same old crap.  And nobody is learning anything.  And nobody really gives a fig.

Coming out of this depression that hit me last year - jeez.  It’s a new lease on life.   I’m living.

It’s so damn easy to just do your own thing - to be your own man - to get off the grid as much as possible.  To not give anyone else power over your own life. And once you do that - you find you don’t really give a shit about their opinions, know what I mean?

And it pisses you off less.
