If you ever pick up your own child and use him as a shield from behind which you take potshots at me or mine, and my sole option is to just take your fire, I am going to open fire without a second thought.  No, I’m not going to aim for you child, but I’m not going to let it make me hesitate for a second to take you out, the risk of hitting him be damned.

As you can probably guess, I am talking about the recent goings on in the Gaza Strip.

Now people - liberal anti-semites, but I repeat myself - wax long and poetic about how “Targeting Schools” is a violation of the Geneva Conventions, but they leave out a detail from their half truths.  You see, you’re not supposed to store weapons in schools, churches, hospitals, etc in the first place, nor use them as bases for military operations, because, under the Geneva Conventions, to do so turns them into legitimate targets.

You don’t need to be a Rhodes Scholar or an expert in international law to know this.  All you have to do is watch TV, because I recall watching, not too fucking long ago, an episode of M*A*S*H* on cable during one of my insomnia fits where they were objecting to a howitzer being put in MASH 4077 because having it there made them a target.

And if that isn’t enough, a simple precept of human decency - you don’t use your own fucking children as human shields because to do so risks them being killed.  The only thing I can think of that is more pathetic and cowardly is to snivel about them being killed after the fact.  Jesus Heironymious Christ, people.  Hearing the Palestinians wail is like listening to the asshole who killed his parents begging the courts for mercy because he is now an orphan.

And it makes as much fucking sense.
