Character matters.

You know, I would have no problem with a politician who was an unabashed playboy.  I see no requirement to be married, or a family man, to be a successful leader.  One of the reasons I stay unmarried is that I don’t want that kind of tying down.  At this time in my life, post children, I see no useful purpose.

If you are going to tie the knot, though, you keep the vow.  No excuses.  If you want to break the vow, for the love of Mike, get at least a seperation, if not the divorce.

Ensign.  Sanford.  You’re fucking disgraces, and no better than Bill Clinton.  You don’t have my confidence or support, an should resign, and in disgrace.  If you can’t keep that vow, you can’t keep the public trust and are unfit for office.

Yes, I know, you were doubtless witch-hunted by the Leftist media and your political enemies.  And?  You should know better.  You should know of the double standard, and that we expect no better from Democrats, and that you are ad should be held to a igher standard.

Well, I don’t give a fuck what your “conservative credentials” are.  Fail.  Epic Fail.  Far as I am concerned, if you want t stay in the fight, you pull the stars off your shoulder and join the troops, STFU, and say “Yessir” and “Nossir” to your betters.

People who actually have lived up to the ideal.

Who aren’t hypocrites.

And yeah, whatever, unfair that Democrats don’t, wah, wah, fucking wah.  They can’t be hypocrites because they have no principles.  We expect better of you.  Deal with it.  If nothing else, giving your political enemies ammunition proves you are too stupid to serve.
